Tesco shares new Clubcard details for getting cheaper deals on items

We're all feeling the pinch at the moment as the cost of living reaches a near 30-year high with spiralling energy costs and the prices of products on shelves soaring.

It's important to try to make savings where we can to lessen the burden on the wallet.

And Britain's largest supermarket Tesco has released details on its latest Clubcard offers which drastically reduce prices for shoppers.

Latest offers include 30% off selected fruit and vegetables, £4.50 for a nine-pack of Andrex toilet rolls and £12 for a bottle of Baileys.

There's also savings to be had for Chinese New Year.

Here, Tesco has outlined the rules and details of the Clubcard and how to get hold of big savings online and in-store:

What are Clubcard Prices?

Clubcard Prices reward our Clubcard members with exclusive deals in-store and online. To get Clubcard Prices, simply scan your Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app or tap your Clubcard/key fob at the checkout.

If you're shopping online, you'll have a Clubcard number on your account already, so you'll get Clubcard Prices automatically. Delivery charges may apply.

Where can I find Clubcard prices in-store?

Clubcard Prices are available in all stores. The deals in Express may differ from those in larger stores and online. To unlock exclusive Clubcard Prices in-store, just scan your Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app at the till.

I’m not a Clubcard member. How can I get Clubcard Prices?

You have to have a Clubcard to get Clubcard Prices. It's easy to join and you'll get a ton of other great benefits too. You'll need to be 18 or over to join. You can either download the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app from your phone's app store or sign up on the Clubcard website.

Then you can start using your Clubcard straight away – just scan the app at the checkout if you're shopping in-store. If you've signed up for a tesco.com account, Tesco will add a Clubcard number to your account when you first check out. So you'll get Clubcard Prices automatically online.

How do I know if a product has a Clubcard Price when I shop in-store or online?

In-store, Tesco will clearly mark products with a yellow Clubcard Price label; you'll also see the regular price. For online products, we'll show the regular price and the Clubcard Price.

I’m shopping online but I can’t see the Clubcard Price in my basket when I check out. Where can I see them?

Clubcard Prices may not show in your basket or at checkout when shopping online. But don't worry, you'll only pay the Clubcard Price. You'll see it on the receipt when your shopping is delivered or collected.
