Tesco has announced a time-sensitive discount available only to Clubcard owners, but customers' opinions on the offer have been split.
The supermarket posted on Facebook on Tuesday revealing that shoppers in possession of the loyalty card would be able to purchase breakfast from one of its Tesco Café venues for a bargain price.
From now until January 31, Clubcard customers will be able to buy a full vegan breakfast for only £4.25

The meal, which includes vegan sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, avocados and more, is usually priced at £5.55 — and this is what shoppers without a loyalty card will need to pay.
The chain wrote on the social media platform: "Enjoy Veganuary for less at The Café with Clubcard Prices. Now you can tuck into a tasty vegan breakfast for just £4.25 – that’s a saving of £1.20 on standard price. Available until 31 January for Clubcard members."
After being published on Tuesday morning, the post has attracted over 90 likes and more than 170 comments from shoppers who were divided in their assessment.
One enthusiastic Facebook user wrote: "Yay! My treat just got cheaper!"
"This actually looks nice," one surprised shopper stated.
"Looks lush," another shared.
However, not all Tesco customers were supportive of the new offer, with some criticising the supermarket's heavt focus on vegan products in January.
One frustrated shopper commented: "Fed up with everything vegan being thrust down my throat (metaphorically) this month!"
"No thanks, I'm sticking to Pork Sausages and Bacon," a second posted.
Another wrote: "Tesco could you please ensure that your GLUTEN FREE SELECTION is not pushed aside, just because the trend of Veganuary has taken over."
