Tesco has announced the return of its Finest Valentine’s Dinner for Two, offering a meal with drinks for two for £12. Available online and in-store from Thursday, February 9, shoppers can choose a main, a side, a dessert and a drink.
Included in the deal is a bottle of prosecco which costs £10 alone, meaning savvy Clubcard members can choose it and get a full meal alongside it, for only an extra £2.
Shoppers can choose from a range of mains that feed two, including Tesco Finest Duck Breast Portions in a raspberry hoisin sauce, Tesco Finest Beef Bourguignon Pies or Tesco Finest Smoked Salmon Gratin finished with a white wine and cream sauce with spinach, and topped with a cheese and chive breadcrumb.
This Valentine’s Day also sees a new vegetarian main added to the line-up.
To accompany the main event, the offer also includes a side which feeds two, ranging from vegetable-based dishes such as the Tesco Finest Creamed Spinach and Tesco Finest Green Vegetable Selection, fluffy Chunky Chips or two new sides, Tesco Finest Truffle Mac & Cheese and the Tesco Finest Heart Shaped Potato Croquettes with Black Pepper and Parsley.
Rhere’s the choice of chocolate or fruity desserts which each feed two, including the new Tesco Finest 6 Raspberry Royale Profiteroles and Tesco Finest Chocolate Brownie Heart as well as returning favourites such as Tesco Finest Lemon Meringue Cheesecake Slices.
There is a choice of drinks including Tesco Finest Prosecco or three Finest wines, new to the meal deal offering for 2023: the Tesco Finest South African Malbec, Tesco Finest Sauvignon Blanc and Tesco Finest Cinsault Rose.
