Tesco Mobile has announced that it will extend free roaming for those using data while abroad until the end of 2023.
The mobile network had planned to reintroduce roaming fees in January, which was pushed back until May, but will now be delayed again until the end of 2023. Tesco Mobile says that roaming packages from 2024 onwards will be announced closer to the time.
This means that holidaymakers jetting off this year can use their data without having to worry about huge added fees when they return home.
Rachel Swift, Tesco Mobile Chief Customer Officer, said: "As we move towards the summer months, we know how helpful it is to stay connected when abroad.
"That’s why, for the whole of 2023, our customers can continue to tap into their UK allowances for free in 48 destinations in Europe and beyond - so they can roam and relax."

How to avoid roaming fees
Tesco Mobile customers can avoid any surprise charges in these countries by switching off roaming before landing, or activating a 'safety buffer' directly through their account that can be set as low as £0.
Customers on pay-as-you-go deals won't be impacted by the reintroduction of roaming fees as they can pay for data both in the UK and abroad.
Customers who join after June 2022 will likely receive a hike come 2024, and those who have had contracts since before then will continue to be able to roam for free until they upgrade.
The move comes ahead of mobile and broadband price rises, which will see millions hit with bills increasing by up to 14 percent.
As well as heftier bills, many phone networks are set to reintroduce roaming in the near future. Virgin Media O2 - which provides the network which Tesco Mobile uses - is the only provider which will continue to offer free data abroad, according to Money Saving Expert.
