From Monday, hundreds of thousands of fresh turkeys will go on sale in Tesco stores. There are strong supplies of frozen turkeys still available as well.
Clubcard holders can pick up some of Tesco’s most popular turkeys on Clubcard Prices, which will launch on Monday. Tesco colleagues are also working to ensure shelves are stocked with all the essentials.
In addition to the stock already in stores, the supermarket’s distribution team will deliver a further 1.3m bottles of Prosecco and half a million boxes of mince pies to stores across the UK in the next 10 days.
Tesco UK & ROI CEO Jason Tarry said: “There have been challenges across the food industry in recent months, but we want our customers to know that we’re still planning for a great Christmas. Our colleagues and suppliers have worked relentlessly to ensure that everyone can find all they need for the festive season at Tesco.
“This year, household budgets are under more pressure than ever and so we are absolutely committed to helping our customers with the cost of the Christmas shop. From next week, we’ll launch our Festive 5 veg price cuts, as well as some unmissable deals on our fresh turkeys for Clubcard members.”
