The price of a Tesco meal deal will increase next week, even if you have a Clubcard.
The current cost of a meal deal with a Clubcard is £3, but from Monday, October 24, Tesco shoppers will pay £3.40. Anyone without a Clubcard will be charged £3.90 - an increase from £3.50.
This marks an increase of 40p for all Tesco customers purchasing a main, snack and drink. According to the Mirror, the most expensive combination costs £6.44.

This means you’ll get a saving of £3.04 if you’re a Clubcard holder, or £2.54 if you’re not a member. If your selection adds up to less than £3.40, or £3.90, then you will only pay the price of the items.
A Tesco spokesperson said more than 70% of customers currently use a Clubcard when buying a lunchtime meal deal. They said: "Clubcard members will pay just £3.40 for a main, snack and drink, making our meal deal an ideal way to grab a great value lunch on-the-go.
“And with savings of up to £3 on millions of possible combinations across our stores, including the recent addition of Costa hot drinks, and our ever-popular Christmas sandwiches which join the meal deal for the festive period, we’ve got something for every taste.”
The update from Tesco comes after Boots also increased the price of its meal deals this month. The high street pharmacy chain has increased the standard price of its meal deal from £3.59 to £3.99, and from £4.19 to £4.99 in London.
Shoppers who are signed up to the Boots Advantage Card loyalty scheme pay £3.60, or £4.50 in London. The Co-op has changed the price of its meal deals twice this year.
It now costs £3.50 for loyalty card holders, or £4 for all other customers.
