All 295 Tesco cafes across the UK are offering a tasty promotion for members of the Armed Forces this weekend. The supermarket is marking Armed Forces Week by offering free hot breakfasts to more than 200,000 of its customers.
All serving Armed Forces personnel, which includes around 159,000 regulars and 32,000 reservists, will be able to enjoy their first meal of the day on the house on Sunday 26 June. All members will have to do is present their MOD90 identification card at their nearest Tesco cafe.
They will then be able to grab one free full cooked breakfast as a meat or vegan version, or a sausage or bacon bap, HullLive reports . Tesco stores across the UK will also be holding a Help for Heroes collection throughout the weekend.

Rhys Little, Chair of the Armed Forces Network at Tesco, said: “We've got a long history of getting behind those who have been in the forces.
“We've received the Gold award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme twice now (in 2016 and 2020), and we were also the first retailer to sign the Armed Forces Covenant in 2014. We also do our best to give anyone leaving the army, navy, or RAF a chance to forge a new career.”
Last year saw Armed Forces Day marked with a special day of activities in Newcastle, including a commemorative plaque unveiling at the Civic Centre and a picnic event on the Town Moor. This year Newcastle Council are promising a “fun filled day” on Saturday, June 25, on Nuns Moor that will include military displays, fairground rides and competitions.
