Tesco Clubcard users have been issued with a one month warning as the supermarket is set to replace its app in favour of a new one.
The UK's largest supermarket chain recently announced earlier this year that it would be closing down two of its apps, with its Tesco Pay+ app already being closed on February 27.
The Tesco Clubcard app is set to follow and will officially be closing on Tuesday, April 18. After the deadline, shoppers will have to download the new Tesco Clubcard and Grocery app to continue earning points when they shop.
Previously known as Tesco Grocery, the new app will allow shoppers to pay, view their points balance, spend Clubcard vouchers, order deliveries and check stock in stores.
With the new changes set to take place in just over one month, we have some handy information for Clubcard users on what will happen to their current points and how to download the new app.
What will happen to your current Clubcard points?
As points are linked to your Clubcard account, they will automatically roll over to the new Clubcard and Grocery app - meaning you won't lose them at all.
Once shoppers sign into the new app they will be able to access their current points and vouchers.
How to download the new Clubcard and Grocery app?
Shoppers who are currently using the original Clubcard app can simply move their account over by pressing 'download or open the app'. You will then be able to continue using your Clubcard as normal.
Anyone who hasn't signed up before can download the new app for free via Google Play and the App Store.
