Walls has recalled a popular frozen product over fears it contains cross contamination.
Walls says its Twister Peek-A-Blue Ice Lollies - which are sold in Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury's and Iceland - could contain higher than expected cross contamination levels of milk.
A statement on the Tesco website reads: "Wall’s is recalling all batches of Twister Peek-a-Blueice lollies (5 multipack and single-serve) due to the possibility of higher than expected cross contamination levels of milk. This is a potential safety risk to people with a milk allergy."
All batches of the product are affected.
If you have a milk allergy, don’t eat this product. Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.
The Food Standards Agency said: "Wall’s is recalling Twister Peek-A-Blue ice lollies because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents."
