Terrifying moment wild boar crashes into popular ski resort and attacks two snowboarders

This is the astonishing moment a wild boar ploughs into two snowboarders at the bottom of a slope.

The incredible footage was captured at the Alpen Blick Snow Resort in Myoko City, central Japan, as visitors are now being urged to be careful in the wake of the attack.

In one clip, a snowboarder is seen coming to a halt at the bottom of the slope completely unaware of what will happen next.

Moments later, a wild boar is seen bolting down afterwards and rams into the snowboarder who is taken by surprise.

The snowboarder falls down as the boar keeps butting him with its head.

The snowboarder is seen trying to use their board to protect themselves as other snowboarders look on in shock and run away.

In another clip, the boar is seen racing toward the first snowboarder but from a different angle.

It then darts off and runs into a second snowboarder who uses their board to stop the blows.

The boar then runs off as the snowmobile siren was sounded by the staff.

It is unclear where the wild boar came from and where it went.

Resort manager Hazawa Kazuhiko said he had never seen this happen before.

He also told NHK that the resort will increase patrols and take other precautions.

Last summer, we reported how a woman was injured after being attacked by a wild boar while sunbathing on a Costa Blanca beach.

It happened at the Alpen Blick Snow Resort in Myoko City, central Japan (Alpen Blick Snow Resort)

The dramatic moment happened after the disorientated animal rushed out of the sea as lifeguards sounded the alarm and attacked the female pensioner.

Medics who treated her at a local health centre have told the local press they believe the victim’s bite injury may have been caused when the wild boar charged at her and collided with her around where its teeth are.

Her “minor” leg injury was cleaned as a precaution and she was believed to have been told to take antibiotics to prevent any nasty infection.

Emergency services were alerted just after 11am on June 3 to the incident at El Albir beach just north of Benidorm.

The animal had been spotted in the water by boat crews who alerted lifeguards on the beach as it began to head for dry land after they made an unsuccessful attempt to catch it.
