An irate man jumped in front of a combine harvester to complain to the farmer it had ruined his picnic - by covering his sandwiches in dust.
Footage showed him standing his ground in front of the massive machine harvesting wheat in Berkshire.
The man had been enjoying a picnic nearby when he claimed he was “covered in dust.”
Agriculture student Eleanor Gilbert, 20, was in a car with her mother Sandy, 51, when the figure stood alone in the wheat to register his complaint.
She wrote on Twitter: “Yesterday we had an angry member of the public jump out in front of the combine around the headland because his sandwich was covered in dust.

“He then came out again and stood in front of the combine. He was so lucky not to have been hit by a vehicle. Thanks mum for de-escalation.”
In the footage mother Sandy is heard asking the irate man to move out of the way of the farming machinery.
Narrowly avoiding an approaching tractor, the man is heard lousy complaining he was “sprayed twice” in a nearby field.

He did not receive a lot of support from people online, with many suggesting he is probably a “townie”.
One replied: “This is what happens when people escape cities for the idyl of the countryside.
“They don’t get it the countryside is a workplace not a holiday camp it has noises smells dust mud on the road, etc.”

Another added: “I grew up on a farm. I’m always amazed by people who move next door to a farm and then complain about the smell, the dirt, the dust and the noise! Unreal!”
Another reminisced: “This happened to us last week! Just sat down to eat a picnic when a huge combine-harvester went by.
“We watched fascinated by how it worked & relieved how much grain it was getting for UK as supplies from Ukraine are interrupted.

“We moved on singing ‘Big red combine harvester ..’”
Some agreed with the man, with one replying: “I also have a field next to my house, and had a similar experience.
“The farmer next door was putting lime on his field, he ended up covering my entire property in a thick layer of dust. Everything.
“So I feel this old guy's frustration.”
