Terrifying footage of the moment a paddleborder was rescued after being blown offshore has emerged.
The woman, in her 30s, was off the coast of Poole when strong winds blew her into open water.
Video footage showed her being blown more than a mile out to sea.
DorsetLive reports the video was posted by the Poole RNLI Twitter account at around 3pm yesterday.
It shows the paddleboarder making her way onto the lifeboat alongside the rescue crew.
The paddleboard is dragged on board afterwards.
Accompanying the video, a statement from the RNLI thanked onlookers for calling the emergency services, and reminded the public about the best ways to stay safe while paddle-boarding.
The South West has been battered by strong winds and heavy rain in recent days, and the gusty winds look set to continue through the weekend.
The statement said: "Poole volunteers launched yesterday to a paddleboarder being blown offshore. The lifeboat crew recovered the person onto the lifeboat who had drifted over a mile out.
"The paddleboarder was well equipped but struggling to get back. Thanks to onlookers for calling 999."
The footage was posted at around 3pm on Thursday, 24 November, shows the woman making her way onto the lifeboat alongside the rescue crew.
The board is later dragged on board after the terrifying incident.
A statement from the RNLI, which accompanied the video footage, thanked onlookers for calling the emergency services.
It also reminded the public about the best ways to stay safe while involved in paddle-boarding.

Volunteer helm Steve said: "It was quite an easy mistake to make with deceptive weather, the cliffs and land were shielding the bay, but once you were clear of that shelter, conditions were ‘quite’ choppy.
"Thank you to the diligent members of the public, for calling their concerns in and we would reiterate that if you find yourself in an emergency or spot someone else in trouble, you should call 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard."
The Mirror reported how a person died and two others needed rescuing from the water after a group of paddleboarders got into difficulty in the water in north Wales.
A major rescue operation, involving police, the Coastguard, ambulance crews, an RNLI crew and the Coastguard helicopter, was launched just after 10pm yesterday.
Three people were pulled from the water and two were taken to hospital for treatment, with North Wales Police confirmed one person died later in hospital.
A police spokesman said at the time: "We received a call at 10.14pm last night reporting a group of paddleboarders in difficulty in the water off Conwy Morfa.
"Officers attended alongside colleagues from HM Coastguard and Welsh Ambulance, who attended to three casualties.
"Two of the casualties were taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd but sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, one person passed away in hospital.
"The local coroner has been informed, and specialist officers will be supporting the family of the deceased."
