A shocked Edinburgh tourist has captured the moment his tour guide's face was 'transformed' into an older woman with 'scars' during a ghost tour in the city centre.
During the popular Greyfriars Kirkyard tour in the capital, Araf Saddiq innocently snapped various pictures during the ghoulish experience with his daughter and their tour guide Jessie King.
The tour focussed on the tale of 'Mingin Annie', who supposedly lived underground in the vaults underneath the city and was branded with hot irons to her face for harbouring a plague victim, reports the Record.

During the tour, the 57-year-old captured various pictures of Jessie explaining the spine-tingling tale, but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until he and his daughter returned to their car after the tour.
The paramedic, from Chapelhall in North Lanarkshire, said he enjoyed the tour and the excellent storytelling, but then noticed a "frightening and unexplainable" image when reviewing the photos he took.
He said: "When we came to the photo of Jessie at Greyfriars Kirk something did not seem right, we zoomed into Jessie's face and were horrified to see it was an older distorted face with what appeared to be scars on her face."
He has since shared the photos with the Daily Record and they do show what appears to be a scarred older lady's face covering Jessie's own.
Araf added: "We didn't notice anything at the time, she wasn't wearing any make-up or anything else either, it was only when we looked at the photos that we saw the change and it spooked us, the fact she appears to be looking directly at the camera too makes it weirder.
"I took a photo whilst she was doing a talk, no one else was taking photos and she didn't know I was taking the photo as I was in the back of the crowd, and she was looking the other way."
"Now, I'm quite a rational person and experienced and seen a lot in my life, I've been a paramedic for 25 years, I don't get rattled very easily and rationalise most things but this has spooked me.
"It may be a trick of the light but looks something more sinister."
