We’re inching closer to the big AFC South showdown between the Tennessee Titans (3-2) and the Indianapolis Colts (3-2-1) with each passing day.
Yesterday, we got our first glimpse at the injury reports and things are seemingly trending in a positive direction for the Titans following their much-needed bye week.
After missing several starters during their last time out, the team could be getting some back this week. The most notable names to watch throughout the week are linebacker Zach Cunningham, edge-rusher Bud Dupree, safety Amani Hooker, and right guard Nate Davis.
While Dupree, Hooker and Davis all returned to practice in some capacity on Wednesday, Cunningham remained on the sideline to start the practice week.
However, last weekend the statuses of Hooker and Davis looked promising at first, but they eventually regressed throughout the week to the point where they were inactive on game day.
So, it bears watching to see if there are any setbacks now that the team is back on the practice field after having an extended time off to reflect, rehab, and recover.
As for the Colts, they also have several big names to keep an eye on, in particular when it comes to the availability of Jonathan Taylor, Shaquille Leonard, and Kwity Paye, all of whom have been limited thus far.
Having said all that, let’s take a closer look at the second injury reports of the week for both teams.
