A Tennessee man has been arrested and taken into custody after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a toilet, according to a report.

40-year-old Rodriques Wilbourn allegedly broke into a home in Orange Mound in the 2400 block of Deadrick Avenue last Wednesday, reported WREG.

Upon entering the home, Wilbourn noticed a brand new toilet still in the box which he then attempted to steal. Realizing he had been caught breaking and entering, Wilbourn then pulled the toilet back in the direction of the house and attempted to flee, jumping a fence as he did so, WREG reported.

The resident of the home and owner of the new toilet alerted law enforcement and was able to positively identify Wilbourn for police. He was caught on Deadrick Avenue and Ethel Street.

Wilbourn was subsequently arrested. When questioned by police, he admitted to breaking into the home and attempting to steal the toilet.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary and will be held in jail on a $5,000 bond. He is set to appear in court on Jan. 31.
