A girl drinking Tennent's Lager at TRNSMT has gone viral after being mistaken as a 'Woodstock 69' reveller.
The concert goer swigging a can of Scotland's most popular lager was mistakenly included in nostalgic pictures of the iconic American music festival which was held on a farm in Bethel, New York, in 1969 at the height of the 'flower power' generation.
The photo album published by a Facebook user from Texas, quickly went viral, receiving over 46,000 shares since the tribute to the Summer of Love gig was published back in May.
But the error was spotted by one eagle-eyed Glaswegian, who shared the photo album post on Twitter alongside the caption: "Buckled.
"That 1st lassie is holding a can of Tennent's at TRNSMT no f***ing Woodstock".
Punters were left in stitches over the blunder on social media.
It comes after TRNSMT was forced to cancel performances this year over the coronavirus pandemic.
The usual packed Glasgow Green event has instead been transformed into a special 'TRNSMT AT HOME' web stream.
The stream features exclusive content from some of the most exciting artists set to perform at TRNSMT 2021 plus some TRNSMT alumni - excluding Jimi Hendrix.
