Destiny 2 has shown that they’re willing to bring back lots of previously sunset weapons, now that sunsetting has been done away with, but that hasn’t helped a lot that remain dead to this day.
Obviously Bungie is going to keep circling back to past weapons, updating their rolls (hopefully not making them worse, like many moon weapons) and allowing us to find them again, whether in the world loot pool or elsewhere. We’re not getting Black Armory, the Sundial or Menagerie back, but those weapons? We can hope.
Here are my ten picks for weapons I want to see un-sunset at some point in the future.

Bygones - This was always a weird one to sunset, as it wasn’t doing anyone any harm, and was not part of DLC went away. But I want it back, and no, I don’t want them to delete Outlaw on it.

Breachlight – This is easily my favorite sidearm of all time and when sunsetting was looming, this was the gun I was hesitant to part with the most. It remains in my vault as tribute to its glory.

Loaded Question – Look, Null Composure just isn’t the same. I want the OG back, complete with an un-nerfed pinnacle perk and Auto-loading, which makes the whole thing work.

Randy’s Throwing Knife – Another pinnacle/ritual that was killed for no real good reason, the right balance of being good at its dedicated role in Crucible yet not so OP it was an active problem like Recluse and Mountaintop and others you won’t find on this list.

Austringer – A fan-favorite hand cannon from a fan-favorite activity, I’m not sure I’ve ever masterworked more copies of a single gun. It may not be meta, but everyone would cheer its return all the same.

Perfect Paradox – Seems almost blasphemous that we’ve sunset Saint’s iconic shotgun, and we need more rapid fires in the primary slot. I was sad to see I hadn’t saved any, but I want it back.

Hammerhead – If I could pick a single crop of weapons for all of them to return, it might be Black Armory, but I’ll settle for its iconic machine gun, plus one more.

The Ringing Nail – I loved the Dragonfly curated Ringing Nail, which would be even better with the perk recently buffed. Bring it back.

Traveler’s Judgement 5 – Another bit of my sidearm bias here, but this thing was an absolute monster by the end, and I was sad to see it go when the Osiris weapons had just been reissued not that long ago.

Midnight Coup – This is the only one on the list the from the fixed roll era that isn’t a pinnacle, but the gun is iconic and even with random rolls (provided the original was still there), everyone would love to see it return somehow.
