One of the most dramatic 0-0 draws in English football history led to one of the most remarkable penalty shootouts in English football history at Wembley on Sunday.
Eventually it was Liverpool who prevailed against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final, with two kicks of a football from the two goalkeepers proving decisive.
After all 10 outfield players for each of the two teams scored with their efforts from 12 yards, Caoimhin Kelleher slotted for Liverpool and then Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga skied his effort well over the bar.

Before the game, both sets of players and fans came together to show solidarity for Ukraine amid the ongoing Russian invasion.

After a strong start to the game from Chelsea, Liverpool grew into the contest and were denied by a couple of brilliant saves from Edouard Mendy, the second of which was particularly special.
Dazzling Diaz
Amid a number of excellent performances from Liverpool players, Luis Diaz was among the best again, with his direct running and dribbling causing so many problems for the European champions.

Vexed by VAR
Liverpool thought they had gone ahead when Joel Matip steered home in front of the Reds supporters.
However, after a VAR check the strike was ruled out.
Kepa introduced
With extra time close to a conclusion, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel made the bold call to substitute his goalkeepers.
Mendy, who had performed wonderfully, was swapped with Kepa. The latter would have a pretty significant role to play.
Cool Caoimhin
After neither goalkeeper saved any penalty from the outfield players, both stoppers had to step up.
Kelleher was first and he was able to dispatch his effort with panache.
The winning moment
As for Kepa? The goalkeeper took what could be best described as a goal kick that almost cleared the first tier of fans at Wembley.
The cup was Liverpool's.

Liverpool have won enough silverware now with Henderson as captain for the midfielder to have his own signature trophy hoist.
