Liverpool have announced that four players will be leaving upon the expiry of their deals as Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner are out of contract in the summer.
The departure of the Brazilian and veteran Englishman will be felt throughout the fanbase and in the eyes of manager Jurgen Klopp. Their eight-year stays at Anfield are over after both Firmino and Milner arrived in 2015 under former manager Brendan Rodgers.
After 109 goals in 360 appearances, earlier this year it was confirmed that the 31-year-old Firmino will not extend beyond 2023 and will be one of the notable departures this summer.

Klopp is an admirer of Milner after spending seven years with the 37-year-old. The German spoke highly of the former Leeds United and Newcastle United man with the tactician urging that a deal be made after he originally signed a one-year extension last season.
However, it has been confirmed that the legendary outfielder, who made his debut at Elland Road as a 16-year-old, will seek new pastures at the end of his current Reds deal.
Both Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain have suffered similar misfortune with injuries. The Guinean arrived from RB Leipzig for a fee in the region of £50m and handed the number eight shirt as he looked to emulate the heroics of iconic number holder Steven Gerrard but his injury record has hampered his progress at Anfield.
The former Arsenal midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain made a blistering start to life on Merseyside. During his first season, he was a catalyst for helping the Reds through to their first Champions League final including a ferocious right-footed effort against rivals Manchester City in the quarter-finals.
A cruciate knee injury curtailed his debut campaign in L4 after suffering the setback against AS Roma in the semi-final first-leg after just 18 minutes. He did return to help the Reds to Premier League glory but a number of troubles have sidelined his career with Liverpool as this season, he has been resigned to just nine appearances.
As the time comes to an end on their Reds career, here are some of the other free agents available in the summer:
Adrien Rabiot - Juventus
Youri Tielemans - Leicester City
Daichi Kamada - Eintracht Frankfurt
Marcus Thuram - Borussia Monchengladbach
Evan Ndicka - Eintracht Frankfurt
Ilkay Gundogan - Manchester City
Jonathan Bamba - Lille
Jefferson Lerma - Bournemouth
Houssem Aouar - Lyon
Dani Cabellos - Real Madrid
