A double decker bus caught fire outside Bristol Temple Meads this morning (January 17). Fire crews from Temple were called to Temple Gate at 10.05am.
Pictures from the scene show the back of the bus well alight outside The Sidings restaurant. The blaze has since been extinguished and the fire service has confirmed no one was injured.
The fire crews used two 45mm jets and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze. At the time of writing (11.15am), they remain at the scene to ensure the area is safe.

The A4 Temple Gate was closed in both directions but the southbound carriageway reopened shortly before 11am. The northbound side remains closed, with heavy traffic building in the area.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement: "Crews from Temple were called at 10:05 to reports of a bus on fire on the approach to Bristol Temple Meads. On arrival, firefighters found a double decker bus well alight and used two 45mm jets to tackle the blaze. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety.
"The fire is now extinguished and crews remain at the scene to ensure its safety. There were fortunately no casualties."
