This Friday many of us will be flocking to our local chippy on what marks the official National Fish and Chips day.
What exactly a chippy is has a broad definition, as many aren't dedicated only to fish and chips but often other dishes. In honour of National Fish and Chip day, we're trying to pin down where you think is the best chippy in Merseyside
Wherever you are in Merseyside you're never far from a good chip shop. Many are award-winning (Yanni's in the city centre and Parkgate Fish and Chips in Wirral deserve an honourable mention here), but even those not recognised by such official bodies do more than hold their own.
