Edinburgh is home to some of Scotland's top fish and chip shops with the freshest fish, golden crumbly batter and of course, crispy chips covered in salt and sauce. It's making us hungry just thinking about it.
There are few things better than a supper but where are the best chippies in the city? Many will argue their local comes out on top, while for others it might even be those that require a short hop outside of the city – perhaps along the coast to North Berwick.
With Fish and Chip Awards regularly declaring national winners, we wanted to get a bit more local and ask you, the real experts, where you think the best chippies in the capital are.
