Teletubbies will be making a comeback this November courtesy of a reboot on Netflix. A quarter of a century on from Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po first exclaiming “Eh-oh!” to care-free children on the BBC, the quartet will be making a comeback to rival any band.
The children’s TV staple of the late ‘90s and early ‘00s will return in its new but familiar form when it premieres on Netflix on November 14. The new series, which will consist of 26 episodes, will be narrated by US actor and singer Tituss Burgess and feature new original songs.
Such was the original’s popularity, it even led to the 1997 number one hit single Teletubbies say Eh-Oh!. This is actually the second reboot since the first run came to an end in 2001, with it being relaunched in 2014 on CBeebies.

The upcoming series aims to bring things forward and target today's younger generation with a “21st century refresh”.
When will Teletubbies air on Netflix?
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po will return to TV screens when the series debuts on Monday, November 14. A new generation of youngsters is set to fall in love with the colourful characters, just in time for soft toy Teletubbies to be added to Christmas lists.

Who is the new Teletubbies narrator?
Following on from Tim Whitnall, who was the original narrator, will be American actor Tituss Burgess. Known for his high tenor voice, he starred as Titus Andromedon in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, a performance which earned him five Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
The 43-year-old also had voice roles in The Angry Birds Movie, Smurfs: The Lost Village and The Addams Family.
What is the Teletubbies synopsis?
The official Netflix synopsis of the upcoming reboot reads: "Join colourful friends Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po on wonder-filled adventures as they learn and grow in this 21st century refresh of the beloved preschool series.” They added that each episode will include original ‘Tummy Tale’ songs that will “have the entire family dancing along”.
