HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Friday trapped Tejavath Bhadraiah, divisional engineer of Yellareddy Division, TSNPDCL in Kamareddy district for taking bribe.
Electrical contractor J Sai Prakash from Kamareddy town filed a complaint against the accused that he has been demanding money for sanctioning official work. Following the complaint, ACB sleuths laid trap and caught the accused.
The accused demanded and accepted ₹18,000 bribe from Sai Prakash for sanctioning bills for the work executed by him. The accused was caught red-handed and the bribe amount was recovered from the possession of the accused. tnn
