For two consecutive assembly polls, Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and incumbent chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has emerged victorious from the Gajwel constituency.
But this time, the BRS leader will be contesting from both Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies – located close to each other.
The decision comes amid the incumbent CM being challenged by former BRS member and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender in Gajwel on a BJP ticket. Meanwhile, in Kamareddy, KCR is set to face Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy.
To understand the undercurrent in Gajwel, The News Minute visits the constituency. How is the public perceiving KCR’s dual contest? Is there anti-incumbency against the CM?
Watch.
