A Tel Aviv court has ordered an early end to the massive general strike that has gripped Israel on Monday.
The labor court located in Bat Yam issued a ruling stating that the strike must conclude at 2:30 p.m. local time (7:30 a.m. ET), which is three and a half hours earlier than the labor union Histadrut had originally planned to end it.
Following the court's decision, Histadrut, the labor union behind the strike, announced that it would comply with the order to cease the strike earlier than anticipated.
