'Teflon Don Donald Trump coming unstuck as sins that brought power catch up to him'

As a superstar of narcism, for Donald Trump, it was “the darkest day in American history”.

Not Pearl Harbour, the Sandy Hook School massacre, or even 9/11, but the day the former president learnt he would be criminally charged over his hush money payment to prevent porn star Stormy Daniels from speaking out about their alleged affair.

As hard as it is to believe that the businessman having sex resulted in something worse for him than his bozo sons, the Teflon Don could soon be coming unstuck.

At the time of his 2016 election, Trump promised to make the world respect and fear America.

But during his short time in the White House, he accomplished neither.

In fact, his legacy has been to make a laughingstock of the States and its democracy.

But now those sins that brought him to power look to be finally catching up with him.

Charging Trump is a huge gamble and is by no means a winnable case.

It is filled with problems and pitfalls.

Most here believe, despite the indictment, he will walk away without a conviction after seeing him go unpunished for many of his outrageous actions.

But what is not in question about the "American history" Trump talks so fondly about is not only is he the first president ever to be impeached twice, or to incite an insurrection, or to lose the popular vote twice but now the first to be criminally indicted.

Stormy famously said of her alleged tryst with Trump that it was “the worst 90 seconds of my life”. Unfortunately, it could yet prove far worse for old Donnie.

With the grand jury's ballot to press charges, Trump has finally achieved what he has craved for so very long.

Congratulations Don on finally winning a majority vote.
