A man and woman have been left with head injuries after they were seriously assaulted in Glasgow city centre.
The incident happened around 10.10pm on Thursday, May 4 at the Four Corners, at the junction of Argyll Street, Union Street and Jamaica Street.
The two victims, both aged 18, were taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment after sustaining head injuries. It's alleged that an altercation took place between the victims and a group of people near to St Enoch Square shortly before the attack..
Officers are keen to speak to a male aged between 15-20 years old. He is described as having a shaved head, around 5ft 7 inches tall, of slim build, and wearing a black and grey tracksuit with dark trainers.
He was last seen heading south on Jamaica Street, Glasgow.
Detective Constable Craig Whyte of CID in Glasgow said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this incident.
“We are aware that an altercation took place between the victims and a group of people near to St Enoch Square, Glasgow, shortly before the attack.
“I would urge anyone who has any information regarding the incident to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 4135 of 4 May, 2023.
