Jarrow teenager Daniel Harkin-Jones was left "utterly gobsmacked" when he was ambushed with the news that he'd won top-of-the-range Range Rover - but his joy turned to frustration when he realised that he can't drive it yet.
Daniel is yet to pass his driving test - though hopes to do so in "a couple of months". Then he'll be able to take his brand new Range Rover Kahn Velar P400 pace car for a spin.
The South Tyneside lad won the car after entering the BOTB car competition online, and was stunned when the firm's presenter turned up at his family home to deliver the car to him. Motor racing fan Daniel will be able to trade in his Vauxhall Corsa - as soon as he gets his full driving licence.

Daniel said: "I’ve got my test coming up in a couple of months but until then it’ll be sat on the drive,” said the motor racing fan. "The win hasn’t quite sunk in yet. I’ve told a few of my mates but they can’t quite believe it either. Looks like my Vauxhall Corsa will have to go!"
Daniel was this week’s winner of the BOTB Dream Car Competition. Christian Williams presented him with the stellar vehicle.
Christian said: "He was completely and utterly shellshocked,” laughed Christian. “You could tell it was a real bolt from the blue. He’s a racing nut so no wonder he chose this car - just a shame it’s going to be a while before he can put it through its paces."
Daniel’s new wheels will be the toast of the town and the talk of the car park when he turns up to his job at the nearby Amazon warehouse.
Based on the P400 model, the Range Rover produces 394 break horsepower and has a three-litre straight-six petrol engine. The flash model is also packed with extras such as two carbon-fibre spoilers and 23-inch wheels. BOTB hands out prizes from supercars to holidays and suitcases full of cash each week.
