A 16-year-old boy was left with facial injuries after he was attacked by a group on a Nottingham street. Around five or six male suspects, many of whom had their faces covered, are understood to have been involved in the assault in Midland Way, Radford.
The group then fled from the scene following the attack, which happened at around 8pm on October 16. An investigation has since been launched to establish what happened, with police now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
PC Daniel Humphrey, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This must’ve been a very daunting experience for the victim, who would’ve been unable to defend themselves against so many people. As a force, we condemn all acts of violence, and are determined to find those who were responsible for this attack.
“The public could have a role to play in helping us do that, so we’d ask anyone with any information to let us know by calling 101, quoting incident 628 of 16 October 2022.”
