A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was reportedly punched in the face and assaulted by another male at the weekend, police say.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives in Coleraine are appealing for information and witnesses in relation to a report of an assault in Dunloy at the weekend.
“It was reported that a 16-year-old male was punched in the face and assaulted, by another male, in the Bridge Road area."

The spokesperson continued: “It’s believed that the assault occurred sometime late on Saturday evening (April 22nd) or in the early hours of Sunday, April 23rd.
“The boy was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
“An investigation is underway, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, and who may have any information which could assist us, to get in touch.
