A teenager was taken to hospital last night after an alleged assault in Dublin city centre.
The incident occurred on the Sean O'Casey Bridge near City Quay at around 9:30pm last night. The teenage boy was brought to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The bridge was closed off by gardai following the alleged assault.

Officers have launched an investigation into the incident. A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "No arrests have been made. Investigations ongoing."
