A teenager hid in a corner shop after being involved in a fight on a street in Nottingham, the shop owner has said. Police were called to Foxhall Road in Forest Fields at 7:25pm on Tuesday, May 16 after reports of a group of men fighting with weapons.
A police cordon remained in place on the street between Berridge Road and Gladstone Street on Wednesday morning, May 17. Kuna Seelan, who owns Discount Store just around the corner from the incident, said a teenager came in with a covered face shortly after the fight.
"There were people fighting in the road, one came into the shop but I couldn't see his face. He was hiding inside," said the 34-year-old.

"He stayed in the shop for about five minutes. I saw a helicopter outside last night too."
His nephew, Kumar, was also working at the time, added: "I heard a loud noise, people were shouting. The guy who came in had his face covered, he looked under 18.
"He seemed like he was in heavy pain." Nottinghamshire Police said specialist officers were deployed to the area, with some of those involved believed to have fled the scene on bikes and scooters.
A resident who lives in Foxhall Road, who wished to remain anonymous, said he saw armed police attempting to arrest a man near the roundabout connecting Mansfield Road to Sherwood Rise. Locals also reported seeing a helicopter flying low around the Forest Fields and Arboretum area of the city.
Ilaria Salutari, 31, said: "I didn't see or hear anything about a fight but I don't know many people around here. "I saw a helicopter, it was in the air for about half an hour looking for something, it was quite close.
"It's the first time I've seen something like that here, but I've only been here for six months. I moved from Switzerland so it's a little different.
"I'm a little bit concerned but it's good that people called the police, I definitely feel safer because of their presence." Kasar Robina, lived in area for five years, added: "I saw the helicopter last night and it was very close, it was right overhead. It's very normal for this area."
Chief Inspector Neil Humphris said: "Officers remain in the area this evening and we ask local residents to be vigilant. Anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage, should call 101 quoting incident 707 of 16 May."
