A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft and drug offences.
Knowsley police seized two motorbikes that were thought to be stolen.
Police have since confirmed that one of the motorbikes was stolen from the Wigan area in December 2021.

The teenager was arrested in the Whiston area on Thursday night.
Police shared images of the bikes. One appeared to be a scrambler type bike.
In a post online, police said: "Knowsley Targeted officers have arrested a 15-year-old male in the Whiston area last night in relation to two suspected stolen motorbikes and drugs offences.
"One of the bikes has since been confirmed stolen from the Wigan area back in December 2021.
"If you have any information on stolen vehicles get in touch Merseyside Police Contact Centre or by calling CrimestoppersUK on 0800-555-111 anonymously."
