A murder investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death in Wolverhampton.
Police officers were called to Laburnum Road, in Bilston, shortly before 8.30pm on Monday to reports a 19-year-old man had been attacked.
The teenager was found in a critical condition and paramedics fought to save him with life support at the scene.
But the ambulance service said “nothing could be done to save him” and the teenager died of his injuries shortly after.
The family of the victim has been informed and officers are supporting them.
Police cordoned off the scene overnight while forensic officers investigated and detectives are continuing enquiries on Tuesday.
