A TEENAGER charged with 31 property-related charges spanning the Hunter and New England area is due to face court on Thursday.
Oxley and Hunter Valley police districts have been investigating a spate of break-ins and stolen motor vehicles since January this year.
Officers attached to Operation Western Mongoose attended a Tamworth home about 9.50am on Wednesday following extensive inquiries.
Police arrested a 14-year-old boy, who was taken to Tamworth police station.
The youth was was charged with more than two dozen offences and refused bail.
He is due to face a children's court on Thursday.
Operation Western Mongoose was established in April.
