A teenager has been arrested after an alleged assault and an attempt to steal a vehicle from a yard in a city centre nightclub.
The man, who is in his late teens, appeared before the Dublin District Court. Gardai were alerted to an alleged assault and an attempt to take a vehicle from The George shortly after 1am on Wednesday morning.
Gardai reported no serious injuries following the incident. A spokeswoman said: "Gardi at Pearse Street arrested a man aged in his late teens following an incident at a premises on South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, in the early hours of Wednesday 1st February 2023.

"Shortly after 1am, Gardaí were alerted following reports of an alleged assault and an attempt to take a vehicle parked in a service yard at the premises. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
"The man later appeared before Dublin District Court at the CCJ."
