Teenager, 19, fighting for life after being stabbed in broad daylight

A 19-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed in a broad daylight attack in east London.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing at a home in New North Road, Hackney at 2.25pm on Monday.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

There have, so far, been no arrests.

It came before a 15-year-old boy was stabbed outside a supermarket after witnesses described a boy being chased by another armed with a machete.

The teen suffered non life-threatening injuries to his back following the attack in Sutton High Street at 4pm.

Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 3992/13Feb.
