A 16-YEAR-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident where four male youths were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident took place on April 10 at around 8.20pm on Pettycur Road, Kinghorn, Fife.
The four youths were taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy with serious injuries, but have since been released.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and later released on undertaking to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court at a later date.
Chief inspector Scott Davidson of Police Scotland said: “Officers are continuing to carrying out extensive inquiries into this serious incident.
“We are following further positive lines of inquiry and those responsible will be identified.
“I urge anyone who has not already spoken to police, and may have information which could assist our investigation, to get in touch.
“There will remain increased patrols in the surrounding areas and anyone with concerns should speak with officers.”
