A teenage joyrider was arrested another was hospitalised after smashing a car into a roadside bank following a chase across west Dublin.
The five-strong gang failed to stop for gardai in Tallaght just after 7:30pm yesterday evening, triggering a car chase which came to a fiery end on the Nangor Road near Grange Castle around 8pm.
Footage seen by Dublin Live shows gardai on the scene helping the youths scramble out of the flaming wreckage before being questioned.

The driver, a man in his late teens, was arrested and brought to Rathfarnham Garda Station, where he has since been released.
One other young man was brought to hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries, while the other three men were let go by gardai.
They told Dublin Live: "Gardai in Tallaght conducted a managed containment operation when a car failed to stop when signalled to, in Tallaght, yesterday evening, 3rd April 2022.
"The operation came to a conclusion when the car struck a bank on the New Nangor Road, Clondalkin at approximately 8pm.
"Five males were in the vehicle at the time and one male, a youth in his teens was removed from the scene by ambulance to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
"The male driver of the car, (late teens) was arrested at the scene and taken to Rathfarnham Garda Station. He has since been released without charge pending further investigations.
"The other three males were uninjured. Investigations ongoing."
