Teenage influencer makes £90k in THREE DAYS

A teenager made more than £90,000 profit in three days after launching a new drink brand.

Charlie Baker, who is also an Instagram influencer, launched a range of non-alcoholic sparkling wine called Daze after noticing a gap in the market. The 16-year-old, from Oswaldtwistle, took the risk on a new venture following the success of his £6 million skincare business, Charles Kardashian Skin.

The entrepreneur officially launched Daze on Saturday, March 4 and more than 7,200 orders were placed as of March 6, reports LancsLive. He said: “I saw how successful Logan Paul and KSI became with their Prime energy drink and wondered what I could do.

“I hope to be Kardashian level big and double what I made with my skin care business last year. I had to go through thousands of bottles and taste them until it was right, and the finished product is honestly one of the best drinks I have tasted in my life.

"So many sleepless nights and preparation has gone into this brand and I have gotten positive feedback from friends and family I did so much research to launch this like what flavours people like, safety protocols and who can buy it. It is incredible to have received that many orders already and I hope that the drinks sector will be the industry for me. It is crazy that people know who I am and it just baffles me about how people care about me.”

After preparing for the business for 16 months, Charlie finally excitedly revealed his creation to his 417,000 Instagram followers. A small manufacturer in London created Daze’s first flavour, fizzy white grape and elderflower.

Charlie hopes in the future that were will be between 20 and 30 different flavours, including raspberry and strawberry. He also plans on introducing still beverages. The teenager is currently in talks with Tesco about selling Daze products in the retail giant’s stores and is looking into selling them in Marks and Spencer and Asda.

Charlie’s mum, Danielle Baker, said: “We are so so proud of Charlie and what he has achieved again. In three days alone he has earned his father and I’s annual salary which is crazy. We are so proud to say that Charlie has signed a contract, making sure that every single month for the rest of his life, he will donate 15% of his monthly turnover, no matter how much that is, to charity.

"He is aiming to become verified on Instagram soon.” She continued: “Charlie was also booked in for a modelling photoshoot in Manchester with UK models. We are really proud of him. Every one of us.”

The refreshing drinks are sold in 100 per cent recyclable champagne glass styled 750ml bottles and are available to buy for £15 each from the Daze website or ebay. Currently the business is only shipping to the United Kingdom but in the next couple of months the drinks will be available to purchase worldwide.
