A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after she was found on train tracks.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to West Kirby today at around 7.59am. Paramedics also attended the scene and a teenage girl was taken to hospital.
A number of Merseyrail services before 9am at West Kirby were impacted, however lines have now returned to normal.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to West Kirby station at 7.59am following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended and a teenage girl has been taken to hospital for assessment."
