An 18-year-old boy accused of targeting elderly victims in a series of robberies is now facing many charges, including identity theft and robbery, after a violent attack left a 72-year-old woman with a broken back.

Madden McGraw pushed the elderly woman to the ground outside an H-Mart in Bellevue, Washington, to steal her purse, according to police.

After the attack, McGraw allegedly attempted to use her credit card to buy gas in Federal Way. That same day, he reportedly used another stolen card linked to a separate robbery to make purchases at Bellevue Square Mall, prosecutors said per local news.

Detectives uncovered evidence tying McGraw to several similar crimes. While he currently faces over a dozen charges, including 11 counts of identity theft and one count of possessing a stolen firearm, he only faces one robbery charge.

"I honestly didn't think they would catch him," the victim's daughter, Sophie Lee, told FOX13.

A search of McGraw's residence led to a lengthy discovery: dozens of stolen credit and debit cards, five firearms, and even Seattle Police Department body armor, rifle magazines, and a taser. Authorities confirmed that four of the five guns were reported stolen.

"The totality of evidence suggested Madden McGraw worked with others to target vulnerable individuals – particularly elderly women – and conduct these crimes," said Bellevue police in a statement per local news.

Prosecutors requested a $250,000 bail as the investigation continues.
