Teen missing for nine days last seen in Paisley as police make urgent appeal

Officers are appealing to the public after a teenager went missing nine days ago.

13 year-old James Anderson went missing from the Paisley area on June 18, he was last seen in the company of another youngster named Mackenzie Tullock at around 4.30pm.

Mackenzie has since been located, however James is still missing.

Police say extensive enquiries are underway as officers believe the teen has travelled to the Dundee area.

James is around 5ft 11 inches tall, with a slim build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black body warmer, black jogging trousers and black trainers - he also may have a bike with him.

Officers urge anyone who may have seen James to come forward as they urgently try to trace the boy's whereabouts.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2936 of 18 June 2023.
