Teen girl seriously injured by e-bike in hit-and-run crash

A teenage pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision involving an e-bike, police in Bristol have said. The crash took place on Hareclive Road between its junctions with Symes Avenue and Bishport Avenue at about 8.45am today (June 22).

Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called by the ambulance service. A girl in her mid-teens sustained serious injuries in the collision. They are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

The rider of the e-bike failed to stop after the crash and officers are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch. The e-bike itself was brightly coloured.
