Technical services provider SPIE UK has been awarded a new contract with North Lanarkshire Council to maintain CCTV and related services in various sites across its region.
For the CCTV contract, the local authority has appointed the firm on a planned servicing and maintenance basis to carry out reactive repairs to council-owned CCTV cameras. The contract runs for two years with an optional one-year extension.
SPIE UK, which has had a relationship of more than 25 years with the council, will also conduct measured term maintenance across intruder alarms and access control systems including monitoring of signalling and associated systems.
The firm said its experience in providing fire and security solutions, life safety and security applications including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control played an important role in North Lanarkshire Council’s decision.
