Three major tech company leaders are expected to attend Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday. The attendees include Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, according to sources familiar with the planning. They are anticipated to be seated near Trump's Cabinet nominees and other incoming administration officials.
Elon Musk and Donald Trump have maintained a close relationship in recent months. Bezos and Zuckerberg have also been working to improve relations with the president-elect before he takes office. Both Bezos and Zuckerberg have met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago post the November election and have been in contact with his team in the subsequent weeks.
Zuckerberg was among the first CEOs to pledge $1 million for Trump's inauguration. Facebook stated that its founder aims to play an active role in tech policy discussions with the incoming administration. Amazon also committed to donating $1 million to the inauguration.
Trump invited Bezos to the inauguration during a friendly dinner at Mar-a-Lago, where he also dined with Musk. Meta declined to comment on the matter, while Tesla and Amazon have not responded to requests for comment.
