The IT managed service provider, founded in 2007 by chief executive Dan Kitchen with an initial team of two, is moving its Teesside office to Admiralty House at the Teesdale Business Park, at the riverside in Stockton, with space for over 100 colleagues to give it room to expand.

The new office has been kitted out with razorblue’s high speed connectivity, Microsoft Teams rooms and recreation areas for staff.

The move supports the company’s recruitment drive to support its expansion plans, which has seen it make two acqusitions in recent years.

It snapped up Stirling based Sarn Technologies Ltd, which has 15 employees, for an undisclosed sum last August, two years after acquiring Manchester-based J-Media. Razorblue also recently launch of its own apprenticeship academy and is constantly seeking new staff.

CEO, Dan Kitchen said: “Having outgrown our previous Teesside base, we took the opportunity to find a space that offered more to our people, too. Stockton has excellent transport links, has more in the way of venues for social events for our team, is a far larger premises to support growth, and we are lucky to be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the river.

“We are thrilled to have made this move and look forward to spending many years here as our exciting journey continues.”

The new office is also equipped with heat recovery and LED lighting to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.

Commercial property director Mark Hill, from landlord Jomast, said: “Admiralty House on Teesdale is set on the edge of the River Tees offering fantastic views as well as high quality environmentally friendly office space. It has been great to work with razorblue on this fast-track project.”
