Teams of intrepid sailors urged to sign up for Dumfries Nithraid River Race

Dumfries (Geopolitical Entity)

Teams of intrepid sailors are getting ready for next month’s Nithraid River Race.

The race, organised by The Stove Network, takes place on Saturday, August 13.

Vessels will race from Glencaple to Dumfries and back again with teams battling it out for the best time. From teams of coastal rowers and sailing crews or single skiffs this year’s race is open to all and wind-powered vessels equipped to make the journey safely.
