Even though it is early July, Los Angeles Lakers fans will have plenty of basketball to enjoy watching over the next few weeks or so.
The Lakers will continue the California Classic with one more game on Wednesday versus the Miami Heat. Then on Friday, they begin their main summer league schedule in Las Vegas when they take on the Houston Rockets.
Meanwhile, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, along with many other NBA stars and superstars, are gearing up for a run at the gold medal in this year’s Summer Olympics. Team USA has completed training camp, and it will begin its exhibition schedule on Wednesday with a contest versus Canada.
The full exhibition schedule includes five games and will last for nearly two weeks. Each game will be televised on either Fox or Fox Sports 1.

The opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics takes place on July 26. Two days later, Team USA will have its first official game when it competes against Serbia.
